President
JD Spangler is the President of Campbelling, a foodservice redistribution company under Burris Logistics, located in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, he oversees all operations, emphasizing strategic growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. JD leads the Campbelling, R.W. Zant, and Sunny Morning Foods to create a unified service offering and explore new avenues for innovation and expansion.
Previously, JD held senior leadership roles at PepsiCo, Sara Lee, and several regional specialty food distributors. He showcased his ability to manage complex operations, develop innovative solutions, and lead teams to achieve exceptional results there. His extensive knowledge of the food service industry and dedication to customer satisfaction align well with the goals of Campbelling and Burris Logistics.

Lourdes Navarro, a long-tenured Team Member with more than 30 years of experience in the protein and broadline redistribution industries, is a passionate advocate for exceptional customer service. Lourdes is deeply committed to fostering a culture of employee engagement and operational excellence to achieve growth strategies while delivering value to our customers, our vendors, our community, and our Team Members.
Lourdes is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at CSUSB and holds certifications in Purchasing and Supply Management, Negotiation, and Culinary arts. She is a fitness enthusiast and avid reader with eclectic taste in music who believes in laughter being the best medicine and the power of faith. Lourdes also loves spending time with family and her dogs.

Joe’s prior managerial experience at McCain Foods and Campbell Soup Company paved the way for him to join Campbelling in 2012. As the Vice President of Sales & Purchasing, he leads his team with a true customer-first perspective. This is one of the key factors in Honor’s ability to deliver exceptional food products at great prices.
Joe spends most of his free time with his active family. He enjoys improving his golf game and is a huge Villanova basketball fan. During the summer months, you will find the whole Adams crew at a beach in South Jersey.

As the Vice President of Operations, I work with an impressive team of people that keep our operations running efficiently. We strive to exceed our customers’ expectations every day. I am excited about our new facility and am actively working towards providing the best service possible to communities throughout the region as we continue our forward growth.
On a more personal note, I am a huge sports fan who loves to watch football and baseball. I grew up in Massachusetts, so I’m a huge New England sports fan, but you’ll find me on the golf course during the warmer weather. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. I have four children, and three grandchildren that keep me and my wife entertained and enjoying life.

Ann Polites is a seasoned Human Resources leader with over 20 years of experience. A graduate of Drexel University, she has built a dynamic career across diverse industries, including consumer packaged goods, the airline industry, and benefits brokerage, before joining Campbelling in 2012. With extensive expertise in key HR functions—such as benefits administration, 401(k) management, workers’ compensation, FLSA compliance, mergers and acquisitions, payroll, recruiting, and union negotiations—Ann has successfully managed multi-state organizations while fostering alignment between employee needs and business objectives. Passionate about employee training and development, Ann is dedicated to driving organizational success through innovative HR initiatives, strengthening labor relations, and enhancing overall employee well-being.
Emory Pepper
Director of Finance

Emory has over 14 years of experience in the foodservice industry. Prior to his position with Campbelling, he worked in Public Accounting, obtaining valuable experience in the manufacturing, distribution, and service sectors. In addition to his professional commitments, Emory also serves on the board of a local non-profit organization. Emory and his family are passionate Philadelphia sports fans.
Alberto Bonilla
Vice President, Integration Finance

With more than 30 years of experience in Finance, Alberto Bonilla has built his career across industries such as Consumer Goods, Pharma, Medical Devices, and Food Distribution. He’s worked in both large global corporations and smaller family-owned businesses, which has given him a unique perspective on how organizations operate and grow. Alberto’s current role as Vice President of Finance Integration came at a pivotal time, as he will participate in bringing together Sunny Morning Foods, Campbelling Philadelphia, and R.W. Zant into a single, unified entity. Having worked with JD Spangler in the past, Alberto saw the opportunity to leverage his experience in system and organizational integration to help build a strong foundation for the future. For him, leadership means collaboration—aligning different teams, processes, and customers into one vision while empowering leaders across the business to drive our success together.
Outside of work, family is at the center of everything that Alberto does. He and his wife are proud parents of two daughters that keep them happy and busy. Alberto enjoys traveling with his family, finding new restaurants, riding his bike, and getting lost in a good book. Giving back is important to Alberto as well—he’s proudly served on the Board of the YMCA in Montclair and Somerset, NJ for the past 10 years.
Anthony Megale
Director of Transportation

With more than four decades of experience in logistics and transportation, including 23 years with Burris Logistics, Anthony Megale has worked across nearly every part of the industry—from warehouse and driving roles to fleet management, freight optimization, and enterprise-level sales. His background in both asset-based and 3PL sectors gives him a well-rounded perspective on running efficient, effective operations.
As Director of Transportation for Campbelling, he is focused on building a smooth and reliable national transportation operation that supports the company’s food service Partners. His leadership style is collaborative and hands-on, built on trust, teamwork, and creating systems that allow both people and performance to thrive. Believing success is always a Team effort, he is passionate about mentoring and developing talent while driving innovation in operations. Outside of work, he enjoys time with family and friends, catching live concerts, golfing, playing pickleball, walking his dog, spending time at the beach, and cheering on the Jets, Yankees, Knicks, and Islanders.
